Today’s report! My notes and strategies from a recent roadtrip from LA to SF with a 2 year old. We will look closely at timing, toy selection, and additional strategies for a smooth ride.
Timing
I call this a “flow.” It’s a projection of the timing, a merge of our normal schedule with considerations of the child’s age, their current level of mobility, their attention spans. I also leave room for deviations and setbacks. At this time, my daughter had just turned 2. She recently learned how to run and jump, and by my observations, had about a 15 minute attention span for coloring and activity books.
