Before we get to my first product guide, I would like to introduce myself on a consumer level. I identify as a minimalist and I try to make the most practical purchases. When I am deciding to buy something, anything, I scrutinize the following:
What is the price, and how often will I use this? Cost per use?
How long will this last, be useful, and be relevant to my life?
When I buy it, where will I put it? Do I have a space for it?
What kind of maintenance or care is required and am I willing to do that?
Does the quality, design, and aesthetic of this item complement my existing belongings?
Based on this criteria, I make my purchase decisions. If I do not need something, trust me I do not have it. If I needed it before and now it no longer serves me, tuh-russsst me I no longer have it. I would rather have fewer, high quality, highly considered things and take good care of them. It makes me happy to live this way, but I do not judge you if you live differently. As they say - GET IT HOW YOU LIVE! At The Sam Report I will always try to give you what I believe are the actual actual needs needs. And you can buy more from there if it so moves you!
Okay! So last week, I introduced the topic of Baby Led Weaning. This week I’d like to share my feeding must-haves!
HIGH CHAIR - QUANTITY: 1
Stokke Tripp Trapp + Tray - I've tried several high chairs, and I like the Stokke Tripp Trapp the most. It's sturdy, easy to clean, and very very very adjustable. Some high chairs have 2 different size adjustments, this one has about 10. With Baby Led Weaning it is important for baby to be able to put their feet on a flat surface to prevent choking, and you can do that with the Tripp Trapp even when the baby is smol. I like anything that you can have forever, and the Tripp Trapp promises that even an adult can use it. Therefore I’ve decided my daughter will sit in her designer high chair all the way through college and to her first apartment. *I would skip the newborn kit and the cushions, in my opinion that is extra unnecessary stuff to clean.
